Introduction Growing up in New England my Uncle was obsessed with all things SAAB. I have wonderful memories riding in classic 900's, vert's, and my favorite of them all, the 9000. I told myself that one day I would have a SAAB. That dream became a reality and I have been enjoying these wonderful Swedish automobiles for over 15 years. This car is absolutely exhilarating to drive and is a class act. I will miss my 9-5 but it's time to move on as my family is requiring a larger vehicle for our expanding family. This car puts a smile on my face every day! I want to find a good home for her especially someone that will appreciate everything this amazing machine has to offer. Condition The 9-5 is in excellent condition and I have pampered this vehicle since I purchased it almost from a dealer almost four years ago ( I am the second owner). I purchased this vehicle from a dealer who mentioned that the original owner had 1 accident (not two as mentioned in the report) but for some reason the car check is listing it as frame damage which is incorrect and false. For the buyer's peace of mind (and because I am an honest seller). I have included a letter from the dealer on their letterhead (when I purchased it in 1/2010) indicating that the vehicle has been repaired and meticulously inspected (based on stringent standards set by the state of California). Car check and car fax have had lots of misreporting issues and this is a well known fact in the used car industry but once it is reported incorrectly it is almost impossible to remove it. For further peace of mind I have included pictures taken of the car's straight and very clean undercarriage. In the four years I have enjoyed this vehicle I can personally attest to the fact that this 8 year old car feels safer and handles better than any Volvo or Audi I have driven over the years even at 73k. One you are smitten by a SAAB you rarely ever buy anything else, new or used. This vehicle has been the most reliable SAAB out of the 6 Saabs I have owned and it will be hard to see her go. If you know a SAAB enthusiast than you are very aware that they are meticulous with upkeep and maintenance and this is no exception. I have taken great care to photograph the car (please see pics) I am the second owner of this car. I have taken very good care of this vehicle and have all the service receipts since I acquired it in January of 2010. This is my daily driver so the actual mileage may be slightly higher upon sale. The car drives great like a 260hp turbocharged SAAB should and has amazing fuel economy on the freeway (I have gotten up to 34 mpg on long freeway trips). I just want to mention that sometimes I notice the car shifting hard after stop and go LA traffic but it happens intermittently and has never really bothered me however I wanted to mention this as I am honest and upfront seller.
