Hi, up for auction today we have a 1984 Pontiac Trans Am Knight Rider project car. I have decided to sell this project because I can't afford to finish it in the near future. My loss is your gain! This car is currently in a secure (inside) storage. It has never been stored outside since I have owned it. When built, it was equipped with all factory options, including 4-wheel disc brakes, posi. rear end, power windows, mirrors, drivers seat, AC (missing compressor), rear wiper (removed for KR conversion) tilt column, power brakes. It has a rebuilt 350 Chevy w/Eldebrock carb. that runs strong. 700R-4 auto trans shifts good also. I have driven this car w/no problems except for the stained windshield (????). Car is fun to drive & comes with the factory build sheet & a 1984 factory brochure book. Last driven this past May. Needs a battery. Factory T-top car w/glass tops & a spare set. Has new front tires, good rear tires on 14" Turbo-cast wheels (w/caps) from a '82 SE firebird. Rear bumper is from a '82 Trans Am. Front bumper is (as I was told by the guy I bought it from) a first season (fiberglass) unit from Marks Custom KITTS, Kissemmee FL (if you don't want the front bumper, call me & say so). Turbo hood is from a '83 T/A. Also included is a sheet of smoked plexi for the taillight cover. Basically, almost everything needed to finish the exterior of the car. The interior has PMD seats w/matching tan belts from a '82 Firebird w/matching rear seat. The original (to the car) power seat trac is included. The door panels & trim also came from the same '82 . They do need new covers, they are 30 yrs. old. Round shifter knob is also included. The body has no rust except for the drivers door which was replaced w/a rust free door from a '82 (matching pass dr. included also) . There is some surface rust on the drivers 'A' piller which is easily fixed when the car is painted. Has all ground-effects including a new (extra) one for the R.Rear. Car has new exhaust, brakes, rear shocks, struts, sway bar links, & good brake lines. Car is sold as is! No warrenty is expressed or implied. You are bidding on a project car, ask questions before you bid. There are some extra parts included (headers, complete wiring harness from a '82 TA), but, the car will need work to get it in the condition it should be in.
