For Sale. 1972 Datsun 240z. I bought this car in Alpharetta, GA in 2002. The engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and bored out to 280z specs. Upon driving the car back from Georgia I replaced all of the suspension bushings with new polyurethane ones which really tightened up the ride. At the same time I installed a rear sway bar as well as a stiffer front sway bar to aid in the handling. The car runs very well once it warms up. The car is structurally sound but there is some body rust as you can see. The car also sustained some body damage from a hail storm before I bought it. I have purchased all the necessary panels to repair the body correctly. Included is a brand new hood directly from nissan. Two new aftermarket front fenders that need a little attention before painting. I also purchased a new driver side door patch panel as well as the panel for in front of the rear wheels on both sides. I have a new set of heater hoses also as well as a complete weatherstrip kit. I have a new set of replacement floor pans as well. I'm sure there are a few other pieces I have left out as I've been collecting parts to restore this car for quite some time. I love this car but don't have the time to finish it as I drive over the road for a living. I have seen these cars restored selling for between 12,000 to 15,000.
