Only 2040 (white) of the Collectors Edition were produced. The Lincoln Mercury Division of the Ford Motor Company intended for the coach to be the most complete and fully accessorized automobile that Lincoln ever built. In 1979 the “Plain Jane” Mark V which was loaded with accessories sold for around $14K. The fully accessorized Mark V Collectors Edition sold in the area of $22K. The history, mileage, and provenance of this automobile are fully documented. The original mileage on the car is now 34, 414. The car has been used primarily as a show car and is a consistent trophy winner. The exterior of the coach features the unique triple gold pin striping which looks new and has not been damaged nor compromised on any body panel. The original floor matts are new and in a plastic bag in the trunk of the car.
