1997SUZUKI DR 350 SE Here is the story on this bike. I bought this bike used (from the original owner) and used it to drive the five miles to work and back every day. I never rode it in the dirt (I had dirt bikes for that—like the KTM in my other auction). I subsequently bought a Royal Enfield (because the old style chrome classic looks cooler than the DR—just my opinion) to commute on and put the DR into storage. It has been in storage for about 6 years. I retired and moved from California to Oregon. I am now 60 years old, and realize that I will never ride it again. It is time to pass it on to somebody who will. The bike is your run-of-the-mill DR 350SE. It has 4800 miles on it. It is the electric start model and does not even have a kick starter. It starts easily and is a good runner. It is like a little tank—it just goes and goes and goes. No smoke from the exhaust. The only problem I know of is the right hand turn signal--it comes on, but does not blink. Other than that this is a fine little bike. The bike has many new parts: NEW REAR TIRE (DUAL SPORT) NEW FRONT TIRE (DUAL-SPORT) NEW REAR FENDER NEW FRONT FENDER NEW REAR BRAKE PADS NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS NEW CLUTCH CABLE CEET SEAT COVER NEW AIR FILTER NEW SPARK PLUG NEW BATTERY PLUS IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL TOOL KIT The oil has been changed and the valves have been adjusted. I will throw in the rear tire it had on it when I took it out of storage (it has about half the tread life still on it). The bike comes with a California title (right now it is registered non-op since it was in storage). I have described the bike as accurately as possible. The Reserve is set at a very reasonable price. Two hundred dollar deposit to be paid through Paypal is required within 48 hours. Look at the pictures and ask questions. There are no returns. I live in Yamhill, Oregon, which is just a little south-west of Portland. I would prefer local pick-up. I can help with delivery within 150 miles for the cost of my gas to the delivery point and back home. I believe there is a Forward Air terminal at the Portland Airport. I can deliver the bike there if all I have to do is drop it off and leave. The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. I will not crate the bike up. Thanks for looking.
