This Austin Healey has had fun past and looking at it you can easily tell. The engine was changed to a small block Chevy early in its life as a Hot Rod magazine project. The engine in it is the same 283 that was installed in the early 60's, this car has not been run in many years and was reportedly driven rarely before that. The last few years have been hard on it and it will take some work to make it pretty again. The frame was not molested during the engine swap, it could be refitted with an original engine. The front brakes were upgraded to disc brakes, a 59 model organ donor contributed many other parts. This car was driven into the barn 20 years ago, it ran then. Nobody has tried to do anything to it since and the farm was sold, the car would like a new home also, perhaps someone to fall in love with it. The floorpans were replaced before it was parked and are still there. The trunk pan under the gas tank is rusted but that seems to be the worst of it. I'm offering this car up for sale, I will remove the V-8 if someone wants just the body.
