1994 4 door dually 1 ton 4x4 with a 6.5l turbo diesel and automatic transmission. 4x4 works great too On Oct-25-13 at 07:42:31 PDT, seller added the following information: 1994 Chevrolet 1 Ton K3500 4 door 4 wheel drive. It is equipped with a 6.5l turbo diesel and automatic transmission that shifts great! 4wd is on the floor and works great as well. I have only had the truck for a couple weeks, but have put about 200 miles on it and haven't had any issues with it. It is a little cold natured and smokes when you first start it up. I don't know if that's just a diesel thing or what. It's the first time i've owned a diesel. The service engine soon light will come on while sitting at stop lights and then go off once you start going down the road again. I do not have an OBD1 scanner, otherwise i would run the code and let you know what it was. While driving down the road, the truck doesn't smoke. Haven't even rolled coal in it, but i've just been driving it not abusing it. 245k miles and i have no back history on the truck, so im going to advertise it as all original. Transmission shifts smoothly without any shifts or hardness. I was really impressed with it. The truck was originally blue and someone down the road painted it the silver and black. The hood is peeling and the black strip down the front fender and doors are peeling clear coat. Whoever painted it did to the door jams and all of that so they did a good job, just the paint they used must not have been the best quality. Interior is all original and very very clean. No rips in the seats. The carpet is stained, but not too bad. AC works. Radio works. Heat works. No cracks in the dash. All the lights work. Tailgate open correctly. There appears to have been a gooseneck plate in the bed at one time or maybe a 5th wheel, but it is gone now. old style 6 point plugs for trailer lights. Dually flares are beat up and cracked. Newer grill installed. Back tires are in good condition but probably only 30-40% tread. Front have inside wear so they need replaced pretty soon. I will probably swap them with the inside dually wheels this weekend. All the power windows roll down and back up. Sliding rear glass. Makes a little noise when the key is on like the ac blower is off track, but goes away after a little while. If it's not on circulate it doesn't do it. I am a dealer, so i'm trying to represent the truck to the best of my knowledge. I still drive it almost every day so i tried to reflect the number of miles that would be on it by auctions end. I will be happy to show the truck before the auction ends. I will also be happy to answer any question to the best of my knowledge.
