This is another car I am selling to settle my cousins estate. His grandmother bought it in 1968 and it has been stored since it was driven in the garage back in 1987. Rarely seen anymore, this car is ripe to be driven/restored and enjoyed. We have not located the title or keys yet, but if we do find them they will be forwarded to the new owner. In Kansas you can sell any vehicle over 35 years old and license it on a bill of sale. I have titled many vintage cars through our DMV the same way without a hitch. The 300 V-8 does turn over by hand. I have not made any attempt to start it as I didn't want to cut into the wiring harness. The body is straight, obviously needing the lower quarter panels to be repaired. Two minor areas in the trunk, about 3-4 inches could use attention, the rest of the pan and the floors are fine. The tires all hold air and she steers and brakes fine. The black dash pad is perfect, no cracks. A basic plain Jane 2-door post Buick Skylark if I have ever seen one, ready to be restored. I put some fresh gas in the carburetor bowl and hooked up my jump battery. After 3 seconds of cranking she fired right up! Sounds great, no funny noises or any smoke. The transmission works in forward and reverse, brakes work fine. I did drive it around my yard a bit and she will need a fresh tank of fuel for sure. This car will drive onto your trailer/transport no problem! I really wish I had room in my barn to keep this one for myself now that I know she runs and drives, but she will definitely have a new owner when the auction ends.
