1959 Chrysler Windsor – The pictures tell the story of how fabulous this car really is! To find a true finned car in this condition is extremely rare. This is a true survivor. This is an incredibly complete car that is in great condition. The body is straight. All the glass is perfect. The body molding and lettering is in great condition and all there. It has a smooth running 383 with 305 HP that starts right up and torque flight transmission with push button drive. The car has been in a private collection and in storage for many years. It recently had plug wires, a tune up and new muffler installed so it runs and sounds great. The carpet, headliner and seat upholstery has been re-done and is in great condition. The door panels, after sitting in storage for many years, have come unglued. The car was torquoise originally and was painted black years ago. The door jams and underside of trunk and hood are still the original color. The grill and bright work is in exceptionally good condition. As you can see by the roof picture it has the very cool two tone roof. It has dual antennas on the rear fenders to bring attention to the classic fins. It also has new spinner hubcaps that look great on this car. The engine compartment looks great. It has a matching set of lion floormats (front and back) and a set of golden lion emblems on the doors. There is very minimal rust considering its age. There is a rust spot in front of the left rear tire (as shown in the pictures). This car starts and runs fine, but before it can be taken to a cruise in, it will need some attention. The white sidewall tires look great, but they are old and are needing to be replaced. I would have the brakes checked out. The headlights and wipers are not currently working.
