1977 AMC Matador Barcelona Coupe offered at NO RESERVE. Dry, rust-free North Carolina car with less than 47k miles. 304 cid V8 with Torqueflite automatic, cruise control, AM/FM stereo radio and tilt wheel. Has excellent brakes, good tread on tires (although I cannot vouch for their age), and air conditioning works and compressor cycles as it should but could stand to be recharged for maximum cooling. All signals and flashers and wipers work as they should. The fuel gauge and temperature gauge do not appear to operate. Side windows roll up correctly in their tracks and glass is in near perfect condition. Unit body is rust free but has minor damage on both front fenders near front side-marker lights where elderly owner misjudged width of garage. Both bumpers are solid with no evidence of rust-through and protective rubber strips on bumpers are intact. Trunk contains full-size spare and full jack assembly. The upholstery shows wear commensurate with stated mileage with some wear on the driver's seat. Shag carpeting is good, driver's door pull strap is missing and headliner is droopy. The exterior paint is in good condition and may require only a good buffing to be presentable. The vinyl roof has many cracks and has been re-dyed at some point in the past. Vehicle comes with a clear North Carolina title. The most recent North Carolina inspection sticker is still on the underside of the windshield. I have never registered this vehicle and it does not currently have valid license tags. Prospective bidders are welcome to view the vehicle in person, which is located near downtown Columbus, Ohio. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction. Balance to be paid in full by cash or certified check prior to release of title.
