3 DAY AUCTION @ NO RESERVE - SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER Up for auction is a original 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport 396. Was found sitting in a garage in Orange County, California since 2003. The owner drove it thru High School & had no intention on ever selling it. In 03', he had plans on rebuilding the motor and just never got around to doing so. Recently, a job offer relocated the owner and his plans ended with the Chevelle. A True SS 396 Big Block "138" Vin Chevelle. Was a desirable factory 4 speed car. The original 396 is gone but has a 67' 396/325 EV Suffix Casting # 3902406, came out of another Chevelle. The original 4 speed was replaced with Automatic B&M Shifter but the floor pedals and clutch are still in place. All original gauges including the rare vacuum RPM & clock are in place. All original Super Sport trim is still place hood, emblems & interior trim. A California Built Chevy that has spent its life out in Souther California. Very solid floor pans and trunk pan. Original undercarriage, factory clean floors. Clean body with an older paint and one primer spot. The front grill and bumper looks like he took a small hit but clean structure. Solid around front and rear windows along with the drip rails. Trunk is clean but the battery was moved in the trunk. Factory Bucket seats and SS trim. Overall, a great candidate for a restoration. Does not run and engine is not connected. Either get it running and drive it around in it's current condition or a full restoration. It is missing the trim cowl tag.
