HTML Online Editor Sample This is a 1931 Ford Model A Street Rod for Sale by Private Owner. I'm helping the owner - Robert - sell his Model A. He is not good with computers. I am good with computers so I put it up for sale for him.You can make an offer through eBay. Once we receive a good enough offer through eBaywe will accept the offer and end the auction. WE THOUGHT WE SOLD THIS CAR TWO WEEKS AGO. WE HELD THE CAR FOR TWO WEEKS WHILE THE BUYER MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK UP THE CAR. HE ARRIVED IN PERSON TO PICK UP THE CAR. HE WAS 6' 3" AND ABOUT 300 - 350 POUNDS. HE WAS TOO BIG AND DID NOT FIT IN THE CAR.SINCE HE DID NOT FIT IN THE CAR, HE DID NOT BUY IT. HE GOT ANGRY AND LEFT IN A HUFF AND THEN LEFT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. Notes about the Car I've owned this car for 21 years. The previous owner did the restoration. He was a shop owner and a pro with bodywork and paint. I do not have the color code for the paint. I'm letting it go simply because I don't use it much anymore. It has a 350 Chevy V8 Engine. It has a 4 speed Borg Warner Transmission. The odometer reads 11,811. It has a 9" Ford rear end, dual saddle tanks. It has disc brakes up front and shoe brakes in the back. It is not a stock dash. (I can't remember what the previous owner told me about the dash, but it is not stock). It starts right up. It runs great, and drives great. Everything works to my knowledge. The body is steel. The fenders are fiberglass. It does not have AC. The undercarriage is in terrific shape. It is extremely clean with some surface rust visible. The interior in the front is in great shape. The rear seats have a couple of small holes. A mouse got in there and made the holes. There is some discoloration there too. There is a small spider type crack in the passenger side rear window. I've included a picture of these imperfections so you can see them for yourself. It has an AM/FM cassette radio. It has a new battery. The car is located in Clintonville, WV. There's lots of pictures for you and a video showing you how this car runs. Serious bidders only. If you win the auction a deposit is required within 24 hours. If you would like to make an offer and end the auction early, call me: Ben 585-732-6519. The rear passenger window has a crack. All the other glass is intact and in good condtion. Here are the rear seats. Click Play to Watch the Video I know it can be nerve wracking to purchase a car online. Here are Answers to Questions we've received about buying a car on ebay: Q: I can’t see the car in person—what if it is not as described when I get it? A: I definitely understand where you are coming from! Here are a couple things to put your mind at ease: 1. I sent out a professional photographer who has seen the car in person and has reported back to me with high-resolution photos and HD video. We also made sure to point out any flaws the car may have. We want to be as honest and forthcoming about the car as possible. You don’t want to buy a car that you are not comfortable with. You need to know you made a good decision. If you prefer you can have an independent third party come out and inspect the car and make sure it is as we described. eBay recommends www.InspectMyRide.com. Of course you may send a friend or relative out to look at the car, or come and see it in person. Finally, eBay protects both the buyer and the seller through their program called Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP). This program provides protection for transactions that are completed on eBay against fraud and scams. You can read about it in detail here: http://pages.motors.ebay.com/buy/purchase-protection. For example, if you pay for a vehicle and never receive it, you are covered under VPP. Q: How do I pay for the car? A: If you win the auction, here is the standard procedure that most people follow: Step 1. You make a refundable deposit on the car through eBay and Paypal (just follow the instructions from eBay after the action ends). Step 2. The owner will email or fax you a copy of the Title and a signed Bill of Sale. Step 3. You send a bank wire to the seller’s bank for the remaining balance. Step 4. You pick up the car immediately after the bank wire is received (which usually takes about 45 minutes from the time you send it). Or, we can help you make arrangements to have the car shipped to you. Q: Can I have someone come out and look at the car? A: Of course! We’ve done the best job we can presenting the car through the photos and videos, but nothing beats seeing the car in person. Feel free to call me: (585-732-6519) to set up a time to come out and see the car yourself, or to send someone to come out and inspect it.
