Vehicle Detail

Relisted due to nonpaying bidder. Please don't bid on an auction if you don't have the funds, the approval of a significant other, or the understanding, to complete a transaction. This is not a game, it is an auction format, and you can't win several auctions for cars and then decide which one you want to buy. 1979 PONTIAC TRANS AM - 38,000 ORIGINAL MILES ONE OWNER SURVIVOR - HERITAGE BROWN ALL PAPERWORK - ALL ORIGINAL Up for sale is my 1979 Pontiac Trans Am. It has 38,000 original pampered dry, rust-free Arizona miles. This car has been a lifelong “garage queen” which was originally ordered and purchased in Phoenix, Arizona by the one and original owner, Betty Feldman, who plunked down $9300 (Cadillac and Lincoln "money" in those days) at Westward Pontiac in Phoenix, Arizona to acquire this beauty, painted in the beautiful and different color of Heritage Brown. The paint is original, in fantastic condition and it wears all of its original decals. This car was also ordered with the RARE OPTION COLOR MATCHED RALLY II wheels, also painted factory Heritage Brown. (See on the window sticker, “Wheels, Rally II, Body Color”) This car has four new Continental CONTI TRAC Raised White Letter Radials mounted on those “15’s.” (15 inch wheels were a big deal then). It’s engine compartment is immaculate as you can see. It has the original: · Paperwork (original bill of sale, dealer installed options) - EVERYTHING including key knock outs, all the dealer paperwork, factory paperwork, window sticker, e.g. · Window sticker · T-Bar Roof (T-Roof) Hatch panels · GM floor mats · Unused compact space saver spare and jack · Felt lined trunk · Upsized tires · Air Conditioning · Heavy Duty Battery · Color Keyed Seatbelts · Console · Gauges and Rally Clock · Soft Ray Tinted Glass all around · Dual Sport Mirrors · Roof Drip Moldings · Window Sill Moldings · Power Disc Front Brakes · Power and Door Locks · Cruise Control · Super Cooling Heavy Duty Radiator · Delco AM FM Stereo Radio and Tape Player · Formula Steering Wheel with Tilt Wheel Option · Custom Trim Group (Lombardy Hobnail Cloth) includes: · Custom Velour Front Bucket Seats · Custom Velour Rear Seats · Door Handle Ornamentation · Pedal Trim Package · Custom Interior Appointments Exhaust system is up to date and finished off with original dual splitter chrome tips. No cracks on the dash and the interior is not faded. An amazing survivor. Assembly line stickers still on the underside Zero rust T-Top Hurst Hatch panels are in fantastic original condition including bags. This rare big block T/A packed the powerhouse 6.6 Litre Olds-sourced 403, 4 barrel engine, and was always been immaculately maintained, and has always been garaged. This was a loaded car in it’s day, featuring a ton of options. I am relocating and won’t have the space to keep this vehicle. This vehicle needs absolutely nothing but a new fanatical owner, Pontiac enthusiast, or survivor muscle car collector. It comes with all of the manuals, keys, e.g. This vehicle is in Rhode Island and is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty, expressed or implied. I am a private owner, not a dealer. Rhode Island does not issue titles for cars of this age but I have copy of previous Arizona title and current Rhode Island registration to show proof of ownership. These cars are beautiful, elegant, extremely well made and this is one of the finest examples of a TransAm you will find. The Firebirds, Camaros, Z28’s and TransAms of that era were beaten and driven hard – few examples exist like this one today. I require a nonrefundable deposit of $1000 immediately via PayPal at the conclusion of the auction, with the balance due in the form of a bank check in five business days. There you have it, original 6.6, loaded T/A in one of the rarer colors, female owned, one owner, garaged survivor, all the original paperwork including the purchase documents and original bill of sale, window sticker, and it’s ready to get in, enjoy and drive to you class reunion with your Journey tapes blaring. With a fairly priced reserve, his car is a bargain which will only provide enjoyment and capital appreciation in the years to come. I'll even throw in Betty's special key fob and the two blankets she had in the trunk - for those frigid Arizona summers!
