1970 Datsun 1600 Roadster - Convertible CONDITION - Project Car with potential - Drove back from Chicago to Fargo 3 years ago at 70 MPH. I got 23 MPG. (650 Miles) Could be up and running in hours. I took it apart about a year ago due due to running rough. (Is it fuel, is it spark! :) If you know these cars, you know what I am saying. And there it sits. The NEW - Shaved head, installed new head gasket, electric fuel pump, new plugs and wires, eliminated old emissions system, brand new white wall tires, seats are brand new, interior is like new, new dash cover, new brake and clutch master cylinders, new wiring harness (needs installed) Oil is super clean as I have changed it every 1000 miles. (I only put about 1000 miles on it) NEEDS - New Carbs, New Distributor (Electronic), valve cover gasket, and generally someone who has the patience for this type of project. Body has some rust underneath but primarily surface rust in the fender walls. New paint job in my opinion. I am getting rid of this car for a few reasons, but the primary reason is that I have lost interest and it is now become a regular topic of conversation of why it is still taking up space in my garage with it.
