2nd owner. was maintained regularly until 2011 needs a tune-up and brake adjustment has bumper tow hitch and working factory trailer light plug-in air conditioning and tape deck work fine comes with toolbox have too many vehicles, must sell no reserve, high bidder takes it On Oct-03-13 at 22:46:28 PDT, seller added the following information: this is additional information about the ford f150 xl pick up truck, revised friday october 3 dear shoppers of ebay, my father bought this truck brand new in 2001. he died this early this year and left me the truck. i have driven it from new jersey to florida. the brakes have been 'grabbing' and i replaced the front calipers and pads myself but that did not fix the problem (i am 'old' and am used to working on 1970's cars with no computer or anti-lock brakes), the 'grabbing' problem is minor but i do not have the money to take the truck to a shop. the problem with the brakes is small and will not cost you much money to fix. the truck has been running poorly lately and the service engine light is on, this also is a small problem that i can not fix because i am completely broke and not working. if you buy this truck you can get it running properly without spending much on it. do not worry dear shoppers of ebay, this truck is worth thousands of dollars and i am only selling it because of financial desperation, i am getting very little compared to what this truck is worth. ten years ago, after i moved to florida, my parents helped me out and bought the little house that i lived in (rented) with my wife and three children. 3 months after that my wife (who thought i now outright owned the house instead of my parents) left me and took the children out of state and tried to force sale of the house for the money. since then i have been paying child support for ten years and have given her over $70,000 in payments of $150 per week. but that is not good enough because it is a bill that lasts for 18 years and i have another 8 years to go until its over. i stopped working after my father died (this year) and i became financially insolvent two months ago and have now received the "dear loser and deadbeat parent letter" from the florida department of revenue (child support) and i need to pay more money immedietly because i am behind $500 or they will suspend my drivers license and my ability to register a vehicle in the state of florida. i am not working and can not pay in time. i am selling this truck to pay that bill. if you buy this truck, take it from my house to a repair shop and you will be able to drive it home from there. so unless you are paying me over $5000 for this truck then i am getting the worse part of the deal. to owe money for child support is the only debt that you can go to jail for in the united states of america (nonpayment is considered contempt of court)
