This is my 1936 1 1/2 Ton Low Cab Truck. I bought this truck last winter. It sat in an out building in Iowa since 1979, not technically a barn, but pretty close. (see pictures) I have since done the following to it to get it to the condition it is now.Rebuilt Starter and GeneratorReplace all Glass and rubber for glass. All windows roll up and down with ease and front windshield cranks out with ease.Wood kit installed for the door pillars and under dash.Interior has been blasted and repainted blackNew seat upholstery Gas tank flushed and cleaned, fuel pump rebuiltWheels and rims blasted and new tires installedBrakes have new master cylinder and wheel cylinder have been bled shoes are the originals. Wheel bearings were repacked.Intake and exhaust was hot tanked and blast and new pipe and muffler installed Engine runs and has been cleaned and repainted, but not rebuilt. It runs pretty good, so didn't see much since in pulling it out. It is the original motor and so is the tranny, it shifts thru all goods no problem. Truck stops and does drive. It has what I believe to be the original paint. I have buffed it out and looks good. There is some rusted out areas at the bottom of the cab (see pictures) and the frame has surface rust on it. Door open and close as they should. I have tried to keep the truck as original looking on the outside as possible. The paint is worn thru in some spot and it has it's share of dent and dings, scratches. But for as old as it is it's not bad. I have a clear Iowa title to the truck it has been register and has plates on it. The truck does need to have the lights wired up. Headlights do work but the wiring has been messed with. Brake light does not work. All gauges work and are original to the truck. This is a super nice find for a really cool truck that you do not see come up for sale, if you can even find one. You will not find another one as original and in this nice of condition as is one is. I have driven the truck around the dirt roads here I live, but have not driven it on the paved roads so I would recommend it be trailered. I can send more picture to anyone who wants them or could even try to shoot some video if someone wants. I have posted both what the truck looked like when I got it and the after. Please ask questions before bidding. I would need $500.00 down payment 24 hours after auction ends and the rest in CASH only at pick up no checks. The truck is kept inside my barn and I can store it there until pick up is arranged.
