This is a Volkswagen Westfalia camper with all of the camper accessories that were available in these factory built campers. My neighbor had this Volkswagen Westfalia camper for almost thirty years . I used to help him work on it and knew it was always well maintained. He did some minor modifications to it to suit his needs and he built the screen door,air conditioner door insert to help cool the van at campgrounds and keep mosquitoes out at night. The air conditioner is a Carrier unit,a high quality unit in itself. I like the way it looks and it is a very well functioning addition to the camper. The rear bumper has an added brace for a bicycle rack that held his three wheeled bicycle. I have included very clear pictures to show the modifications. I decided to let the new owner decide on whether to remove those changes for themselves. Overall the camper is very clean and shows little,if any wear. There was a repair patch done to the rear seat,folding bed that appears to be a dealership repair. And one visible hole in the headliner on the drivers side. The camper was never driven in the winter and shows no rust or damage. The camper was always kept under an oversized car canopy and shows very little exterior wear. The roof canvass is clean and has no tears. The window cover for the front and an extra curtain are present. The camper does include a Volkswagen Vanagon ,Westfalia repair manual. The camper runs and drives very nice and can be test driven before taking delivery. We have a Volkswagen dealership nearby and many shops in the area that can assist in inspection of the camper and for preparing you for your return home if you decide to drive it home. The paint on the outside shows very nice and we have not tried to buff or polish it out so the new owner can detail it out the way you want it done and except for a repair on the sliding side door,the outside appears to be factory paint and to be in great condition. The inside is very nice as well. And shows to be a non smokers camper. We have clear title to the camper and can assist in transfer at out local Ohio title registrars office and an Ohio licensee office is nearby for purchase of a transport temporary plate if taking the van out of Ohio. The camper has 66,000 original miles and is branded as that on the clear Ohio title. A $500 deposit will be required at the end of the auction within 24 hours and full payment will be cash upon delivery of the camper and clear Ohio title. We answer all questions and will post responses. On Sep-29-13 at 05:41:39 PDT, seller added the following information: The mileage I put in the description is not correct. The mileage is 61,400 original actual miles. The bumper rack for the bicycle can be unbolted and removed. It has not been welded on. And the air conditioner insert shows one bolt holding it in place and that is a 5/16th carriage bolt. The rest of the door frame appears to be attached using the original trim screws around the door opening.
