Vehicle Detail

This is my third, and last, attempt to sell this truck. I've pulled the seat out of it and taken some pictures of the rust in the floor. If you're interested, I can send those pictures out to you. I've done the math, and $410 is my minimum price. So that is where this no-reserve auction will start. Please, someone, help me save this guy from the crusher! This truck has been sitting for at least the last 30 years and it's time it gets a new owner. I believe it is restorable, but it might be a better parts vehicle. I will give you a description here, along with the pictures, but if you have specific questions or would like other pictures, please contact me. I'll start with the front of the truck and work around it. All glass is gone or broken. Hood and grill are both in very good shape. The front bumper could be straightened and used, but it's currently painted and ugly. Right side (passenger) front fender, door, and bed side are in excellent shape. Tailgate is straight but rusty. Back bumper is not original and is ugly. The bed is full of stuff (which will be removed before it's hauled away) but appears to be straight and in good shape. Driver's side appears to have been sideswiped. It's probably repairable, but would take quite a bit of work. The driver's side fender is creased and has been pushed in from the front. Both the door and bed side have the marks as well. The interior appears to be complete, although the glass over the gauges has been broken. Both floorboards in front of the seat are rusted out. I've taken the mat out and have pictures available if you're interested. I believe both sides are repairable. It still has its original radio, and its dash speaker cover (I think that's what it is) is in good shape. Knobs, etc. are there, but I don't have keys for it. The engine compartment appears complete, including the radiator, air breather, carb, etc. Actually, the note I have for myself says, "Appears complete minus radiator cap and wingnut on air breather." I could not get the engine to turn when I tried it by hand. I did not try turning it with the starter or with a socket on the end of the crankshaft. It is a V8 engine with a 1 bbl carb. Before bidding on this vehicle, please do your shipping homework. I will have it on 4 rolling tires and will assist in loading it on a trailer, but I live a long ways from anywhere and it is difficult to find an affordable shipper that will come and get it. There are no local shippers that could deliver it for you, so you'll have to talk to someone on your end. I live just outside Blanding, UT 84511, which is about centrally located between Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix and Albuquerque. I am 180 miles southwest of Grand Junction, CO. For payment, I'd like a $200 payment through Paypal within 48 hours of the auction's close with the balance due within 7 days. Quick pick up is not necessary, but I hate holding on to someone else's vehicle once is has sold. So let's say it needs to be picked up within a month of the sale date. Contact me once you've made the $200 payment and we'll work out the rest of the arrangements. Obviously, the truck won't be moved or shipped until payment is complete and confirmed. This truck is being sold AS IS, with no warranty. It has a clear Utah title in my name. Please ask questions if you have any. Also, additional photos can be taken. I can be reached at 435-459-0591 or through email. Thanks. The truck is for sale locally and is subject to prior sale. I'll pull the listing if it sells locally. However, if I get at least one bid on it through this auction, I'll drop the local listing, and see the auction through to the end. Thanks.
