Vehicle Detail
While helping with an Estate sale I soon found a 1950 Dodge Cornet in the man made shed, Mother drove it into that shed back in the 80's, turned the key , and that was that -- It was time due to age and pain to continue driving the NO POWER STEERING car. I will be helping the family sell that 1950 Dodge, I can help with the information regarding the over all condition and what the family tells me, Feel free to ask if you need more info, I'll do my best to answer. The car ran fine when parked however it has been parked in that very spot for 33 or so years but complete and covered, one tail light is broken the rear trunk lid is banged in ( can be popped out ) the usual bangs and dings for a car that age , My goodness this car was 30 + years old when it was parked. sooooo it is a "barn" find and shows well for that. It is with manuals, some early paper work, records from over the years, early plates from when it came west to WA in the 60's, a good amount of related items that went with the car like , clamp on bumper Chrome an Amber Glass fog lights, shifter, a bunch of hub caps and just stuff, if your hauling it away you will have room for the rest if you want. This car had 2 owners since new, This is a big four door, family car, it has an optional Fluid Drive transmission ( you didn't have to use clutch after 1st gear, ) shifter on the stick, An iron bullet proof Flat Head 6 , never been driven since 1980's dosn't turn with my hand putting pressure on the fan belt and try to turn the shaft that way, did not try to start with good 6 volt battery. Buyer/Winner will need to tow the Dodge to move it. The inside is original but shows lots of age break down, Dash board still has that big flashy Jute Box look ,with the transfer wood grain on the trim and dash with that mid century 'Art Modern ' at it's nicest. Two and a half flats, LOL Good luck bidding A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100.00 in 24 hours and complete payment in 5 working days. Bill of sale and Title will be releast when funds have cleared. Car must be removed 10 days from day the funds clear. You can try to arrange an extended stay or After 10 days a $4.00 per day storage charge begins. After 30 day's the car will remain in the ownership of the seller. Seller
