This Eleanor Tribute was built on a fully loaded 2009 Shelby GT500 convertible. All the performance upgrades were done at Sansone Ford in Ocean Township, NJ where it was then fine tuned to perfection by the legendary Mustang tuner himself, Mr. Jon Lund AKA Johnny Lightning. The car was then taken to Cervini's facility in Vineland, NJ to begin the Eleanor conversion. You will not find any other Shelby GT500 like this in America. Many consider modifying a Shelby GT500 sacrilegious; hence meticulous care was taken into the conversion to assure that it stayed completely classy, yet still absolutely unique. This is an AMERICAN MUSCLE car. For every 1 person that will be turned off by it, 1000 will completely adore it. Approximately $25,000+ of DOCUMENTED hard work, sweat, and guts has gone into upgrading this vehicle. The exhaust note on this car is one of the most stimulating exhaust notes you will ever hear. It has to be heard in person to be believed. It will tingle your man card senses like it has never been tingled before. This is just a convertible you say? Well hold on for dear life because every shift and acceleration will throw you back on your seats and knock your socks off. This vehicle is just an absolute joy to drive. On 9/21/2013, this vehicle was placed on SAE credentialed DYNO Jet at Pilkington Performance Center in Hawthorne, NJ. The video of the DYNO is provided below. Final numbers: ~693hp at the crank. 555hp at the wheel. It is a BEAST of a vehicle. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. It has been taken care of like a baby fresh out of the mother's womb since its delivery. It has never seen rain, sleet, or snow. It has always been indoor garaged with a car cover. Once you step in the vehicle, that "new car" smell is still present. It has NEVER been raced, abused, or driven hard. All 10,000+ miles were summer time cruises around town, long drives on the beautifully paved Palisades Parkway in NY/NJ, and 3 trips to Times Square in NYC. It has never gone outside of NY/NJ since its arrival. If you don't want attention don't get this car. People will stare, gawk, and then pull out their cell phones to take pictures. Especially in Times Square!!! It will make you feel like a million bucks!!! Once you're stopped, someone will eventually come up to you. If they're not complimenting the car, they will be asking questions... and then compliment the car. An official/authentic Carroll Shelby GT500 signature/plate was finally delivered for this vehicle September of 2011, just a little less than a year before Carroll Shelbyy unfortunately passed away. The stock Navigation system was upgraded with a Kenwood DNX7180 by Auto Designs NYC in Manhattan. The Kenwood head unit brings all the modern luxuries of Pandora, iPhone/Android integration, Sirius, and bluetooth music/handsfree calling. It is completely flush on the system to give it the factory finish look. The unit has also been updated with the latest firmware that resolved all the sluggish issues the first DNX7180 firmware had. An artist was hired to render a custom Shelby GT500 boot logo for the LCD upon start up and in the background. Chrome accent pieces from Blue Oval Industries and Stack Racing were installed to compliment the Carroll Shelby GT500 signature/plate. However, NOT to the point where it just looks atrocious and gaudy. Just enough chrome to give the plastic Mustang interior a more quality OEM-like appearance. You want to make it even more unique by turning your Shelby GT500 into a roadster? It's possible! Included is Cervini's Speedster Cover with matching red stripes!!! We weren't kidding, EVERY little detail on this car was thought through!!!Below is an actual video of the vehicle!!! Please note that the car was turned on and idle for 30 minutes PRIOR to revving the engine. This was done so as to not rev a cold engine and in order to test the best placement for angle/sound of the camcorder... which coincidentally takes a lot of time and preparation. Please understand though that NOTHING can do this vehicle justice except seeing it for yourself. I highly recommend ALL potential bidders to please come and see the vehicle before bidding.
