Powered by the famous 2JZ-GTE 6-cylinder and backed by the factory automatic transmission. This is a numbers matching car. All factory VIN stickers are present and visible (hood, both front fenders, both doors, rear hatch, both rear quarter panels, and bumper reinforcements). All 6 glass windows are also factory etched with the same VIN # (JT2JA82J7P0003387). Clean Car Fax & Clear Title. The 1993-1998 Supra Twin Turbo is often referred to as the most over-engineered car in history. The Toyota Supra Twin Turbo was the feature vehicle in the major motion picture “The Fast and Furious”, and has been featured on numerous other television shows due to its immense popularity and mystique. There are multiple celebrities, athletes, and other ‘famous’ people who own these cars due to their reputation. This particular Baltic Blue ‘beast’ has the targa top sport roof, polished factory rims, and infamous rear wing. Paint still polishes up nice but has more than its share of fading, nicks, and scratches after 20 years. No rust. The few exterior changes I made are modest and easily reversible; 97/98 style tail lights, smoke colored lenses on the front turn signals and all four side markers, a Grille Tech screen within the front air dam, and the interiors of the headlamp housings are painted (black) to match the 97/98 style. The factory original 2JZ-GTE six cylinder engine under the hood runs great and I have always allowed cool down time for the turbos. No problems to report. Regularly serviced and inspected. Have meticulous maintenance records for at least the past six years. A TRD strut bar was added in the front for extra stability; A DieHard Platinum P5 deep cell battery provides more than enough amps, and a TRD thermostat was installed to allow more water pressure. Heat and AC work perfectly. Targa top does not leak, but it does rattle on bigger bumps so it needs to either be adjusted or rebuilt. Goodyear Eagle F1s were installed all around about 6,000 miles ago. The low rumbling tunes from the upgraded MoZart cat back exhaust sound just right. I also retained the factory original cat back exhaust which will be included with the car. Tan leather interior is in great shape. Non-smoking vehicle. Power adjustable driver seat. Front bucket seats show general creases and wear but there are no holes or tears. Rear seat is in excellent condition and still looks new. Original tan carpet has no holes or tears, only general wear. Nice looking Supra floor mats are also included – which are getting harder and harder to find. Original factory dash, air bag, glove box, dash panels, door panels and console are all in excellent original condition. Owner’s manual is still in the glove box. Easily removable aluminum bezels (from MVP) around the gauge cluster and HVAC controls add a modern look to the dash. Minor imperfections DO exist, so if you are looking for a perfect show car – keep looking. One console lid hinge is broken, but it is not visible or a problem when closed. I wanted a nice car to drive – not a garage queen, gutted race car, or a hunk of rebuilt junk. Simply put, this is a very nice interior that has been well taken care of and you won’t be afraid to sit in it. Again, the Heat and AC work perfectly. Air conditioning blows ice cold. Power mirrors/seat etc work as intended. Sound system consists of the original equipment AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo and 7 factory speakers including subwoofer. Cassette and CD play fine but the radio doesn’t pick up stations that well – I think the connection to the antenna has simply come undone. Power antenna has power and goes up and down- but the reception is lacking. (I just play the radio through my iPod). Speakers are the factory originals and while they play, they have seen their better days. Upgrading the entire sound system was on my list – just never got around to it. Clean Car Fax and Clear Title. Car was appraised in 2007 for almost $23,000 (which was about $6000 more than KBB at that time). Since then, the Kelly Blue Book value has INCREASED to well over $20,000, proving that these collector cars are steadily increasing in value already. With production runs of fewer than 2,000 each year between 1993-1998, demand has already proven the Twin Turbo Supra to be an appreciating investment, well before the 25 year mark. Clean/unmolested examples like this one are getting harder and harder to find, and can sell for substantially above Kelly Blue Book. My reserve is set below Blue Book!
