This car was rebuilt from top to bottom during the 1990's and has very little mileage on it since then. This 1973 Mustang Mach 1 was assembled in the Dearborn Michigan plant on 03/16/1973 and is a true numbers matching 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet Mach 1. This 1973 Mustang Mach 1 has the "05" VIN and the Q code which means that it was ordered as a Cobra jet. Original Ram Air induction car. Originally painted bright red (code 2B) black vinyl bucket seats, black vinyl top, automatic XPL-type transmission (C6) Original Ford 9" non locking rear axle, upgraded to Ford Tracloc unit. Came off of the line with competition suspension, power disc brakes, power steering, air conditioning, rear window defroster, AM radio, tinted glass and sport wheel covers. There were only 35,440 Mustang Mach 1 2 door sportsroofs produced in 1973.
