BRAND NEW: dual exhaust, Battery, Headliner, windshield and window/door seals, fuel filter, 2.5"white wall radial tires with new beauty rings. New stereo, dynamat and carpeting cd/mp3/sat ready. imperfections: paint and body(still looks fine but isnt show material), antenna broke but I have a new one coming and will have installed, rear driver side has a ding behind the bumper, one headlight needs a new bulb. the gas gauge is moody. couple small cracks in the dash. i dont have a key to the rear hatch...all simple problems to fix if it makes you feel better. Like I mentioned, this is a daily driver, not a show car or Id be selling her for 22k like the others here. the rear corner trim piece that is missing in some pictures is there now. That said, its a 1969 aircooled VOLKSWAGEN BUS, it is loud, it rattles, shakes, burps, farts, leans, swerves, and needs regular symptomatic awareness for maintenence. Not a car you can drive for 3months and not check the oil. -no I wouldnt allow my 16yr old to drive it as a first car -there is no ac -there is no radiator -its AIRCOOLED, meaning roll the windows down or open the vents if its raining and you are hot. Other than that, she is a gem to drive, 99% of drivers show courtesy and respect for the VW emblem and allow the slow roller to make its way. I cant drive it without someone having a shared interest, or starting random conversation at the grocery store, or complimenting me on it.
