1942 Short bed pickup for auction, nice solid truck on rolling chassis with good rear and front end. Entire truck and frame has been blasted and primed with bare metal primer so it's a nice solid start to a frame off resto , rat rod, or street rod. With the exception of the steps all metal work welding has been done and is ready for finish bodywork. Steps are original steel, have a little pin rust but solid otherwise and are hard to find. The floor has new pan installed and could probably use some finish welding but the interior of cab is also blasted and primed. I know just blasting a bare cab is around $500 without the rest of pats so the bulk of rough work is done. All body panels are original steel, the bed and tailgate are in nice shape for an original, probably used for work, back in the day truck. As you see in the pics I have headlights, door hardware, hood latch , inner fenders. What you see in pics is what you get. No interior or glass. Nice, solid start with a previous south western truck. These trucks are also compatible with 40-41 front ends, so will work for an earler build also. I looked for a long time to find a truck with no rust, I ran out of money and time so my loss your gain good luck bidding.
