Vehicle Detail
This 1969 Plymouth Valiant is being sold as part of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy proceeding (Matter of Potter, Case No. 13-20829, Western District of NY). Seller is the Chapter 7 Trustee. The vehicle was driven to the trustee's office in Fairport, New York about three weeks ago. It does run. The trustee drove it around the parking lot about a week ago. It did need a jump, and we suspect the battery will need to be replaced. Other than that, it runs and is in drivable condition. We made every effort to photograph the vehicle to clearly show any significant defects. The tires are good, and the body has no apparent issues beyond those expected for a vehicle of this age. The former owner added the modified hood and dual exhaust. The interior clearly has some deficiencies (missing driver door panel, torn driver's seat). Otherwise, it appears pretty much intact. Note: We listed the odometer reading directly from the vehicle. Given the age of the car, we suspect the odometer has turned over, but we have no personal knowledge about the history of the car. If you have any questions, or want better photos of any specific parts, please ask and we will do our best to accommodate. Since this is a bankruptcy sale, we can not accept any "buy it now" type offers. We have set a reasonable opening bid, and must allow the auction to run its course. The vehicle is available for pick up only. We can not arrange for shipping. A $500.00 deposit must be made within 48 hours of the end of sale. Failure to make that deposit will result in the trustee offering the vehicle to the next highest bidder.
