1975 Suzuki T500M Titan. This bike has 84oo original miles. I had purchased this bike with the intent of restoring it one day. It ran and everything worked fine, but it was weathered and tired looking. Then I entered a contest. I actually won the Cycle World / Bikebandit contest! As the winner, I was given access to everything sold at bikebandit.com and upon completion of the bike, it would be featured in Cycle World Magazine. I quickly sent them the list of parts I would need to turn this old Titan into the café bike I envisioned it could be. As parts arrived, I began the transformation, photographing everything as I went along. When I was finished, Cycle World was pleased and they featured this bike in Cycle World Magazine, Dec. 2012. Please note that this was not a nut and bolt restoration. The bike is still all original and the motor has never been out of the frame. It still has the patina of 40 year old motorcycle, some scratches, old original chrome on the fenders, etc. but the addition of the new parts as well as a proper tuning, set-up and service have transformed this into a real fun motorcycle. It is currently registered and insured and has a clean title in my name. It really just needs a new owner to enjoy as-is or to take it to next level?
