You are bidding on a 1966 Buick Wildcat 4 door hardtop. Vin # 646639002399I would consider this car a daily driver, it runs well, brakes well, steers well and rides well, the car as is can be driven pretty much anywhere you choose. It is not been restored other than the engine and transmission which have about 5000 miles since the rebuild. Below are the owners comments on how he acquired the car. "The refurbishment of my 1966 Buick Wildcat started in 2003. My brother-in-law Ralph spotted the car parked by a driveway on a farm south of Prince George BC and approached the owner regarding its availability.A price was quickly agreed on and Ralph was the proud owner of his dream car. Ralph was working as a mechanic at the time and began the process of putting the car in working order. He had the engine and transmission rebuiltbut unfortunately got ill in 1997 and passed away before the rest of the work could be completed. The car came into my possession at that time and I journeyed out to Prince George and drove it back to Winnipeg. Unfortunately the car sits mostly in my driveway or in winter storage and not being taken on show and shines as Ralph had anticipated doing.Although the car is a work in progress and does require repairs to the horn and signal lights, and ignition tumblers it otherwise runs well.
