This car is a rare barn find. It is a low mileage, 3 passenger business coupe. To our knowledge only 1573 were built from 1947 to 1948 The engine is free, but it need new fluid, tires, and wiring. The upholstery is complete and would make excellent patterns ne upholstery. The Chrysler Windsor Business Coupe (American Model) was a 2 door coupe body style, rear wheel drive, with a manual 3 speed gearbox. I believe the gear box is the fluid drive assisted hydraulic operated transmission. The body is in good condition with small rust spot in driver's front fender. All of the chrome is in good condition and all in place. The rear fender welting is chrome and is in good condition. Some new parts were installed such as brakes hoses were installed and cylinders were rebuilt, but master cylinder will not hold pressure.
