2000 Texas owned Ford Focus SE 4 door sedan, with 2.0 ZTEX DOHC engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Original owner is the daughter of a long time San Antonio Texas Ford Service Tech Manager at a major hill country Texas Ford car dealer. All service work done to the vehicle has always been with Ford certified parts, and Ford certified technicians. The original dual overhead cam ZTEC engine, has never been apart. Serviced religously its entire Texas life. The original transmission/transaxle shifts perfectly, with no problems whatsoever. Car runs and drives perfectly. New brakes, new rotors, new drums, new axles, new A arms, new ball joints, new struts, new tie rods, new power steering pump, new rack and pinion, new thermostat, new water pump, new radiator, new timing belt, new air conditioning compressor, and new O2 sensors. Aftermarket 5 spoke alloy wheels, and BF Goodrich performance tires. Tread is about fifty percent. Wheels are nice, with some road rash present, but not very noticeable. Exterior of car shows well. Always garaged, washed, and waxed. There are various dings, chips, and scratches evident...as expected on a 13 year old vehicle, that has been parked and driven for 128,900 miles. The black paint is in very good condition, with the exception of the rear decklid spoiler wing's clearcoat finish. Interior is very clean. Seats are near perfect. It is the charcoal and black color interior option with the hued ZTEC option seat inserts. All interior surfaces, are clean and conditioned regularly. Carpeting is nice, with a wear area near driver's side heel. Headliner may need some isolated cleaning, with a spot here and there. All functions within car work well. All lights, power locks, and dash controls are operational. Fan switch bezel has some wear from use. This is Texas, and the air conditioning is a needed requirement. It blows very cold, with no problems. Picture of the dash instrumentation was taken with the key in the ON position. There are no maintenance illumination lights on whatsoever. The car is currently inspected, registered, and driven on Texas roads. It is ready to drive in every way. Overall, the vehicle is a great car with plenty of miles to be seen still. Service reports on this particular drivetrain exceed the 300,000 mile in many documented Ford enthusiast sites. I see no reason why this vehicle would not do the same. It has always been very reliable, and it remains difficult for the original owner to let this car go. Times change, and sometimes things see their use travel on to someone else's time and focus. No pun intended. This is a used vehicle, regardless of its attention and detailed maintenance, it is still a vehicle needing continued details and attentive ownership. The new owner should understand that there is no warranty, nor expectation of the previous owner to be responsible for any future repairs that this car may eventually need. Shipping of course, is paid by the new owner, with pick up assistance available on this end to assist in getting the vehicle to you. There are hopes that the new owner posesses the same desire to care for their vehicle as this one has been maintained. These cars are very popular, and have had a host of upgrades, and modifications available to them. One of Ford's most successful vehicles of this century. According to the owner, she has wiped the jambs out with every wash that the car has ever had. I believe it. They look like you could eat off of them. Only thing I can do is retake the two pictures, when I can. The door jambs are indeed immaculate.
