up for sale is a 1985 cj7 project jeep. there is over $12,000 in parts alone not including labor. what comes with it : new in package painless wiring harnessrebuilt and balanced 258 straight sixnew gm hei distributer with wires and plugswide track axles with moser 1 piece rear end kit installednarrow track axles4 spd manual trans with a cast iron dana transfer case unsure of what model unknown condition was told its good.turbo 400 automatic with amc housing bolted to the motor (this has new seals and an extra deep pan known to be good)chain drive transfer case bolted to that. 2 used dash boards so so condition1 piece front end not installed yetfiberglass body uninstalled but predrilled and ready to go.1 solid frame that has been repainted already.custom rear bumper heavy duty with a 2 inch receiver built in.fiberglass windshield frame (no glass) installed already.2.5 inch lift kit already installed.totally stainless brake line kit not installed with new hosesrear disc brake conversion kit uninstalled.2 sets of doors both styles paddle and j handleoem not aftermarket air conditioning out of another jeep except the two hoses.brand new starter-- installedbrand new water pump-- installedalso known to run -- 304 engine out of another jeep.i have a few Laredo seats that could be recovered (good frames-- not cracked or broken)2 roll bars slight body liftsupports for body and roll bar professionally welded (ordered from morris i believe) This is a project jeep that i have been working on for the last year and just don't have time for it anymore. if your looking to build a jeep this one would be perfect a lot of the dirty work has been done. this frame has 0 holes in it and i would say it is a 9 out of ten. there is no top it was stolen but i could locate one pretty easy if someone was interested. there is also probably a pickup load of misc parts that i have acquired . everything goes with the auction. more pics to comeOn Jul-29-13 at 09:54:00 PDT, seller added the following information: I should also add there is no trans hole cut into the tub so thats still sealed if you decide to go automatic.also the 258 straight six is painted gloss black and looks gorgeous.
