I AM RELISTING THIS MUSTANG, I HAD A BUYER FROM COLORADO AND ABOUT 100 MILES OUTSIDE OF COLORODO HIS TRANS WENT OUT AND HE CANT AFFORD TO HAVE IT SHIPPED...SO, NOW I AM SELLING IT NO RESERVER! HE WON IT FOR $4000 AND I KNOW IT IS WORTH WAY MORE THAN THAT.I am selling my 1988 Mustang GT Hatchback, this car is in unbelievable shape for being 25 years old, can be tagged as a antique car. It is Bright Regatta Blue, one of only 3,806 made in that color in that year.The Mustang has a clean and clear Arkansas title, no accidents of any kind and I have the full car fax on the car. This was a buddy of mines car and he just had a baby girl and it needed to go, so I bough it from him and being that I already have a 1991 LX 5.0 convertible I am choosing to get rid of this one. This has been a southern car and is 99% rust free, not a single door ding and just a couple hail dents, you wouldn't notice them unless you were looking very very hard. I have had 7 fox bodies throughout the years and this is by far one of the nicest I have seen for the year. The mustang has always been garaged and or covered, garaged since I have owned it. The paint shines very well and has a few blemishes here and there but I would consider it an 7 outta 10. The interior is in near perfect shape. There is a little separating on the stiching on the drivers seat and the headliner is one of the vynle ones so over the years and heat has started to shrink and wrinkle, but other than that every piece is there and in awesome shape, sunroof functions fine and does not leak. I would give the interior an 8 outta 10. This is not a car that I wouldn't think twice about going to a cruise night or car show or playing around with at the drag strip...it's a head turner. It starts every time and does not smoke a bit. I will list all the details and goodies of the car. EVERYTHING THAT IS NEW: SVE wheels 17x8 anthracite with a fine machined lip, lip is wider in rear BBK SSI Single Stage Induction upper and lower intakes BBK fuel rails BBK 75mm throttle body BBK cold air intake New radiator New distributor New plug wires New spark plugs Brand New AOD Transmission installed at Landers Mclarty Ford in Bentonville, AR New fuel pump New fuel filter Brand new set of 3 piece OEM headlights New foglights New Riken Raptor 245/45/ZR17'S all the way around Fresh oil change Brand new front windshield Optima Red Top Battery Clarion CD player wth remote, input for Iphone and bluetooth SO, that's all the GOOD stuff...now here are the things that may need attention to....even though it is a very dependable daily driver, and fun to say the least! Rear main seal leaks a bit, just on like 99% of all fox bodies! Paint is not perfect, but 7 outta 10 Heat does not work, the heater core is bypassed and I have not had time to hook it back up to see if it leaks or not A/C needs charged, everything is there and hooked up, all new belts cruise doesn't work, I am sure its probably the clock spring dash lights do not illuminate.... other than than everything is in perfect working condition, even the seat bolsters that air up all work, even has working ashtray/power supply door that works....which if you know mustangs that is uncommon.
