2004 Volvo XC70 2.5t AWD Pennant Motors is pleased to present this beautiful 2004 Volvo XC70. For those who haven't driven an Cross Country, they are about the most comfortable cars ever made. The seats are almost too comfy to describe. These also feature Volvo's proven and legendary turbocharged 5 cylinder engine. We have sold nearly 50 Volvos in the last year, and this particular XC70 is very special. It's optioned very very well and is in just spectacular condition. When taking the mileage into consideration, it is in absolutely amazing condition. It could easily pass for a car with 50,000 or less miles. The 2004 model is the first year of many improvements made by Volvo to increase reliability. This is the year you want! This XC70 is spectacular! This is not an auction car! We have a close relationship with one of our local Volvo dealerships which allows us to directly purchase their trade-ins. This car was purchased from them when it was brand new, and just traded in on a new XC70 by the original owners last week. This Volvo dealer allows us to pick and choose which of their trade-ins we would like before they send their cars to auction. It allows is to acquire the best of the best from them. The interiors of Volvos are spectacular. The graphite leather seats have beautiful blue contrasting pronounced stitching, and are in excellent shape, as are the dash and the carpets. The car has Volvo's Dual Zone automatic climate control which works properly. This car has Volvo's Premium Alpine audio with CD Player and Cassette. It works and sounds awesome (actually one of the best sounding car stereos of its era). For safety, this Volvo has, of course, dual front airbags, as well as SIPS side airbags. It also has Volvo's IC Inflatable Curtain airbags as well as WHIPS whiplash protection to keep you safe in the event of a rear-end collision. The rear seats fold flat, and even the front passenger seat folds down for carrying extra long loads. There is also the cargo privacy cover. The outside of this Cross Country is beautiful and is finished in the stunning and lovely Metallic Silver color. The paint is in good shape, with no major defects. The paint is incredible, and there are very very few door dings! The car has contrasting rugged unpainted "slate" colored bumpers and side trim, and also has the very rare "Xenia" alloy wheels which are an upgrade over the standard wheels. It also has the bixenon gas discharge headlamps. Aside from providing enhanged night time vision, the gas discharge light housings have more aggressive styling and really update the appearance of the front of the car. Take note of this when looking at other XC70s. They also have daytime running lights in the most inboard positions of the light housings. It has the touring package as well which features rear privacy glass, interior air quality system, and a host of other upgrades. The interior air quality system has an air quality sensor. When this sensor detects odors outside of the car, it automatically closes the fresh air intake flaps and circulates the interior air so that the unpleasant odor never makes it into the cabin. It can also detect dust and other small particles. Additionally, it is fitted with an activated charcoal filtration system which constantly purifies the air in the car. The car does have a trailer hitch installed with the adapter bracket to fit a hitch-mounted bike rack. The adapter plate has been in place for a long time, and it appears as though the car has never actually been used to tow anything. The tires are in nearly-new condition and are the matching. The brakes are in very good shape with solid stops and no pulsation. The transmission feels perfect. All accessories have been tested and work, including heated seats, air conditioning, and cruise control. This Volvo also is PA state inspected for safety and emissions. PA state inspections are one of the most strict in the country, and a car that passes this inspection is essentially mechanically perfect. A PA state inspected car is a car that you can be assured is in excellent running and driving condition. That said, I have personally driven this car over 100 miles in just the last day, and it is fantastic. I have even had it to speeds well above what any normal person would drive, and it was as smooth as silk and had plenty of power. This is a fantastic car!
