Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 2002 BMW Dual Sport R1150GS - Less than 2,000 Miles per Year + One Owner (other than my 2 months) since new in 2002. + GS = Gelande Strasse' = On-Road/Off-Road + Very well-maintained and documented + Bought & serviced at Bob's BMW + Had 18,000 Service at Bob's BMW + Had full check-up when I bought it in June 2013 + Have complete service records since new (All Bob's + my time at Beemer's Uber Alles) + All Maint. Paperwork, Extra Original Keys, Original (hardly opened) Manuals/Operators' Guide + This R1150GS is in VERY, VERY GOOD condition. (I just hate to use superlatives) ° Slight discoloration on some engine screws/bolts - Previous owner stored it outside a few months ° Tank & Fairing paint is virtually perfect + Excellent Instrument Cluster - Great for Heads-Up Riding, no need to look way down ° VERY visible Temperature & Fuel Bar indicator ° Large easy-to-read (even if far sighted like me) Speedometer and Tach + Standard GS - NOT the Adventure Model - Still handles gravel/dirt extremely well. + Current Seat Height 31" w/ BMW "Low seat" - Goes to 32+ w/ Stock Seat 33.5" w/ GS Shocks + Rear Passenger Foot Pegs (like new) + Brand New (less than 400mi) stock BMW Seat (but the lowered version) ($343) ° Also will include original height seat (has a 4" rip in it - easily repairable (@ Joe Longo or others) + Has R1150RT Front & Rear Shocks on (Original 19,000Mi GS Shocks included) (RT = $450 w/Lo-Miles) ° Center Stand & SideStand slightly shortened to accommodate shorter RT Shocks - Easily replaceable if desired ° Both sets are Excellent Touring Shocks ° They soak up potholes, cracks, and railroad tracks like they aren't there. + Touring Windshield and an identical spare windshield + Original BMW Locking Side Cases ° Both in very good condition w/ only a couple small shoe scuffs from my short legs ° These are the streamlined ones, not the square, boxy Euro/Adventure-type cases ° These are an incredible accessory if you've never had/tried them ° Great for rain gear, night/fog vests, hats, food, first aid kit, road flares, spare parts, etc. + Heated Handgrips (incredible heat when required -- I tried them!) + Gauntlet Grip Shields - great for colder weather conditions and rain + New BMW Battery + New Front/Rear Metzler Tourance Tires last week ($400) + Fresh Oil/Filter last week - Castrol Racing Synthetic - Only the best! + 18,000mi Service by Bob's BMW/Maryland - Documented ° Complete thorough once-over by Beemers Uber Alles last month when I bought it + Throttle Lock for cruising + New ZTechnik Engine Guards for Cylinder Head ($299) ° Hardened Beadblasted Silver Finish w/ Mounts for Cruising Pegs + New SW-Motech On-Road/Off-Road Wider Footpegs ($148) Like New + "Signal-Minder" Brand Turn Signal Self-Canceling/Programmable System (Bob's BMW install) ° Programmable for 3 levels of seconds Turn Signal is ON, then cancels it for you. + Pulsing Extra Brake Lights with Front Lever & Rear Pedal activation (Bob's BMW install) ° Really Stands Out and let's cars behind you know you're slowing! ° Main Brake Light is steady-on with while brake activated + Standard Spoked Wheels (Stock 19" Front & Stock 17" Rear) ° Stock 19" front gives more touring/road stability ° Also is huge advantage IF you have to get into gravel or dirt ° Won't let the front wheel get buried as much when in gravel/dirt + Front Wheel Fenda-Extenda (lower engine case protection from rocks/dirt) ($40) + Side-Stand Wide Foot Pad (prevents fall on soft asphalt) ($27) + Virginia Inspection Sticker valid thru July 2014 +++ First 4 photos are from May, before Engine Head Protectors & Foot Pegs. Other photos are today's. I bought this in June 2013 - and just invested $1,700+ more in it AND I just replaced this bike with another having shorter seat height BMW. So, this one must go and you can believe my wife is watching this sale. Two bikes in the garage (or budget) was not anywhere in the plan at all. I absolutely prefer and love this R1150GS bike for easy general riding for me and my wife. I bought it after being off bikes for awhile and didn't pay enough attention to seat height. I was wow'ed by the feel and ride of this GS. BUT, I have a 29" inseam and this ride will just never fit me. I put a brand new BMW "lowest model" seat in the lower seat slot to lower it a bit. Then I had R1150RT shocks put on it to lower it a bit more, and - still not enough. It's not a tall bike -- I'm just all torso. I have the original 19,800mi GS shocks that will go with the bike. It's a beautiful Graphite Grey and the paint is very good. No Scratches , just a couple light scuffs on the side cases. It's also surprising how many BMW sales people in-the-know ride an 1150GS. The VP/BMW-Sales in F-burg prefers & rides this bike, and so do many others in-the-know. If you like a more upright riding posture than a pure street bike --- this will be an incredibly comfortable ride for you. This bike has substance and a crosswind won't blow you off the road. And it handles mountain roads like a dream --- I love the actual ride more that the R1200R I just bought. But my feet on short legs need to touch the ground more than this bike allows. My Loss (in dollars too) - Your Gain! Asking $7950 - . Write me and leave your phone number if you want to talk more. Thanks. My rating is important to me. ASK Questions if you have them --- I'm fairly representing this bike. SOLD AS-IS - No Refund, No Exchange. There's no need to wait until the last 30 minutes. Let's rock now.
