1978 Chevy Custom Van for sale. Been sitting inside stone floor garage for 3 years. Exhaust needs to be redone and it needs brake lines. Runs if you dump fuel in the carb. Might be old gas or plugged lines or a mechanical fuel pump. When it ran the engine was very strong and drove well. Power steering is good, transmission is good. The body is very rough. This will need to go to someone willing to spend money to pretty up the exterior. Interior is in near perfect condition for the age. It's an original from the 70's. One of the first conversion vans of it's type. I would love to keep it to restore it but I don't have time with college. Has new driver door and rear doors with absolutely no rust.On Jul-27-13 at 20:20:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Pictures of rust show that the lower panels are rusted through. Replacement panes can be purchased online for $40. Van starts when fuel is poured into the carburetor, but does not stay running.
