Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is my 1991 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with only 56,000 original miles. I bought this car approx 2 years ago for that perfect sunny weekend driver. I guess I'm that guy that loves his toys! Unfortunately, I'm like many that are affected by this "down" economy. So I guess my loss is your gain. I'm a motivated seller, but also it won't make or break me if this doesn't sell! So please bid accordingly. If you have less than "5" eBay rating or negative ratings, please send me a message prior to bidding! Please do your research before you bid! This is an auction, so if you bid expect to buy it!! Feel free to ask as many questions as you would like! I have nothing to hide as you can see by my description below. I'm a firm believer in being upfront with both Pro's and Con's of my i listed vehicle!! Description: 1991 Cadillac Sedan DeVille Dark Navy Blue Exterior w grey accents on bottom edge of car (factory) Dark Navy Blue Interior Automatic 4.9L V8 56,000 Original Miles Vin # 1G6CD53B94M320429 Exterior: I bought the car from my elderly neighbor. The car was driven in its entirety to and from doctors appointments, church and grocery shopping here in Connecticut and to and from his condo in Florida where he spent the winter months, I believe since the car was new! I always asked him if he wanted to sell the car because I always liked this body style plus it still had the more desirable 4.9L Cadillac Engine. This engine is one of the last years before Cadillac came out with the Northstar that had a lots of problems! This type of engine is perfect! When I bought the car I noticed a little bit of the paint fading on the roof as well as the fenders. I think the reason for the faded paint was that the car was garaged in Connecticut from April to September but parked outside in the blistering sun in Florida from October to March because his condo didn't have a garage. So me being a meticulous person I had the car completely repainted. It cost approx $2,500. I also put brand new catalytic converters plus a new resonator and a muffler less than a year ago which cost me $1500. The same white wall tires are on the car as when I bought it. They have approx 50% tread left. The passenger side rear tire has a small 2inch gash in the side-wall from granite curbs here in CT. I had it checked out by my local tire shop and its not noticeable and they said its not dangerous so I left it alone. All the brakes all around were replaced less than 14 months ago with less than 2k miles on them. All the fluids were and still are regularly maintained and change should it need it. I rate the overall condition of this car as a 9 out of 10. There is absolutely NO rust at all! There is some minor scratches around the car from normal wear and tear! I have included pictures showing as much as I can. Interior: Overall condition of the interior is a 8 out of 10. It's Dark Blue Leather interior has normal wear and tear. The driver seat is NOT ripped. The part of the seat that you actually sit on, the stitching in the seam is coming loose. It's a simple fix for an Upholstery person or someone who is good with a needle and thread. The power sunroof works excellent and does not leak. The radio is a stock AM/FM/Cassette player. It works well but sounds like 1 of the 6 speakers may need to be replaced. Not a big fix. The power seats work excellent and are very comfortable, there like sitting in your living-room, Excellent for long rides. I have taken as many pictures as I could to show the condition as best as I can. I have described my Cadillac to the best of my ability. I have listed all of the good and bad points of the car. I took the pictures myself. Should you need a picture of something I didn't get or you need a clearer picture please message me or call (203)360-4734. I have set the reserve based upon the value of the car and the average price of what these type of cars sold for in the past on ebay taking into consideration condition plus or minus mileage. Please bid with confidence. Thank you and good luck bidding.
