3 day auction Hi you are looking at a 1970 ss 396 Chevelle with its original built sheet these cars are so hard to document with out the original engine fortunately for this car we have the original built sheet that matches the vehicle ID number and the body number to this car ,it was found under its original carpet before it was replaced what a new carpet, although the built sheet is a little hard to understand because of its age but we can still read the important codes on it such as L34 396 V8 and ZL3 396 ss as shown in the pictures of the built sheet. here are the list of options that remain on the built sheet C60 air conditioner D88 hood & dk stripe F41 SS suspension J50 vac pwr brakes Jl2 pwr disc brks L34 396 4bl v8 eng N40 power steering U27 glove box lite U63 am radio U76 w/s antenna U80 rr speaker V31 f bumper guard Zk8 tire press lap ZL3 ss 396 Lwr med green Thats about all that I can get from it, and to leave out that it says something about a vinyl top but I can read the code for it it does not appear to have been a vinyl top but maybe when the previous owner had it repainted it was removed I have seen that done before. The paint looks shinny and straight although it is coming through on some parts of the car but overall looks good. No dents The interior has been redone but the door panels are original they are in good shape, the seats, carpet, dash pad, package tray, head liner has been redone with quality padding looks great. I have upgraded the steering wheel with a brand new rosewood beautiful .The engine that is in the chevelle is out of a 1966 SS chevelle 396 w/325 HP same as the engine that this chevelle came with, we have done all the research and ran the casting numbers and thats what it came back as, The engine has totally been redone with up grades Edelbrock intake a edelbrock carb and headers with a nice sounding cam engine runs and sounds great Still has its original turbo 400 transmission shifts perfect ,this chevelle has been upgraded with a set of racing wheel's and tires The brakes are in great shape along with the suspension. It is still a 12 bolt rear end, that has been rebuild Overall if you are looking for a 1970 ss chevelle that looks good and drives anywhere And won't leave you stranded then this is the one for you ..If you are not sure about buying this car then please don't bid on it, and if you want to inspect it please feel free to inspect it before wining the auction.
