Regrettably, I am selling my CBR 900RR. This bike is in excellent condition, virtually stock, garage kept, beautiful and ready to ride this summer. Few of these original bikes are still in existence, most have been crashed or had the motors blown. If you're looking for a solid, affordable, reliable, fun to ride sport bike, you can't go wrong with this bike. The CBR lineage is race proven; it is simply awesome! Check out the attached article from the bike's debut (Cycle World 1995 Buyer's Guide). This bike still turns heads, presented in a great looking "purple on black" color scheme. I must confess that my CBR still garners plenty of comments and just as importantly, it provides the adrenaline rush that sport riders seek. I was at a BMW Open House, in Jun, and I was looking for a spot to park. I squeezed my CBR in amongst some vintage bikes and returned to find my bike had been awarded a 2nd Place Award in the sport bike category! Not a bad showing for a stock bike ridden in, straight off the street, and parked. This bike runs like new; is well maintained (I have all of the maintenance documents); has been garage kept (covered); and is a thrill to ride. The engine, exhaust, and suspension remain all stock. I did add a few aftermarket items for aesthetics: purple tinted windscreen, yellow handlebar grips, 1998 VFR 800 Interceptor mirrors, and sleeker aftermarket turn signals. The bodywork is in great condition. There are some minor scratches on the lefthand side, about mid fairing, please refer to the pictures. History: I am the second owner. I purchased this bike in 1997 from a fellow Marine, in NC, with about 14K mi. on it. Since then, I've put on another 14K mi. with no major problems. One of the many beautiful things about a Honda is, when you start it, it runs...very reliable machine. I have all of the maintenance records for the motorcycle. The tires are in excellent shape (I estimate they have about 10K mi of use on them). The motor is tight, no leakage. Additional items: Since I am selling my bike, I have some items that will go with the bike, if interested: 2 Shoei helmets ( one is purple on black, the other is solid yellow), a Geza bike cover (Lycra) made for this bike, a Bike Master vinyl cover, a track stand (rear), a reflective vest that matches the bike's color scheme, Eclipse tank bag, Eclipse tail bag, and a Haynes Repair Manual.
