Ivory Coated Fabric (w/Black Carpet, etc.) 01A= First week of January Up For auction today is a 1970 Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe. One of the most desirable Muscle Cars of all time! This 1970 Chevelle Was built in the General motors plant in Van Nuys, Ca. in January 1970. This 1970 Chevelle has spent most of its time in California and has no rust whatsoever. It was ordered with Factory air conditioning which is still intact with the exception of the compressor and its mount. This 1970 Chevelle was also ordered with power steering as well as power brakes. Front brakes have been upgraded to disk, the rear remain drum. This 1970 Chevelle retains all of its original sheet metal, the quarter panels, doors, fenders, deck lid, and hood are all original to the car. The floors and frame on this 1970 Chevelle are perfect and have never peen patched or cut into or welded on. The panel fitment on this 1970 Chevelle are all gapped nice and the the hood, deck lid and doors open and shut as they should. This in an unmolested very original 1970 Chevelle and looks to have only been painted once. All of the glass on this 1970 Chevelle is in good condition and roll up and down with ease. The front windshield has the radio antenna built in. This 1970 Chevelle has rebuilt Chevy 350 C.I. engine with gear drive, ceramic coated headers, Weiand Street Warrior aluminum intake manifold and a mild rv cam. Has hei ignition and new 3" exaust all the way to the back with tips that exit near the rear bumper. The engine starts instantly, doesnt leak oil, and runs and sounds great. This 1970 Chevelle has a turbo-hydromatic 350 transmission that shifts well and also does not leak, hooked to the original 10 bolt rear end. Has very nice interior, and is clean inside and out. All gauges function properly, the engine runs cool and has very good oil pressure. All lights function properly as well, even the door buzzer works, to let you know not to lock the keys in the car! This 1970 Chevelle is a real pleasure to drive and wherever you go people give you the "thumbs-up" because of its awesome looks and the sound of its engine and gear drive. This 1970 Chevelle has a really nice set of Rally Wheels and nice raised white letter BF Goodrich tires. This 1970 Chevelle has a clean California title in the owners name and comes with a bill of sale and the original owners manual. This 1970 Chevelle is currently registerd until June of 2014 and still has its original California blue plate! Cowl tag and VIN tag are both intact as you would expect to find on such a wonderful classic Muscle Car! In 1970, sheetmetal revisions gave the bodies a more squared-up stance and interiors were redesigned, too. The 1970 Chevelle came in sport coupe, sport sedan, convertible, four-door sedan, a couple of wagons, and coupé utility (the El Camino) body styles.
