A little history on this bike is the original owner from 1969 until approx 13 years ago passed and his wife sold it to my neighbors brother through the estate, who then passed away last fall, and his estate passed it on to my neighbor/2nd owners brother, I rode it last night and it is 100% awesome, first kick start(most Hondas do) great power, no strange engine noises or smoke and no leaks, idles perfect. Running it up the road through the gears and then coming back down I downshifted through all the gears and it is perfect, everything works, if you have any questions call me at 419-566-1909, leave message if I don’t get it. *(The odometer shows 4706 miles which are accurate, when the title was transferred through the estate she got the numbers backwards, so the title says in the 6400 area, this may be able to be correct through the BMV but after you meet the owner it will be explained thouroghly). Whar you are bidding on an extremely clean, all original, 100% complete, excellent running CL175 (175cc parallel twin, 4-stroke engine with 5-speed transmission) in Candy Orange with 4706 miles *(EXPLAINED ABOVE). Engine No. is CL175E-1009849, VIN NUMBER IS CL1751009802 , This model was the successor to the CL160 Scrambler and only produced in 1968 & ’69. The 175cc motor, the last of the sloper design, produced 20 horsepower vs. 16 for the CL160. The bike drives, shifts and brakes as new. Tires are in excellent condition.. Tank is exceptionally clean inside and has never been coated or sealed. Paint is excellent including side covers. While not truly a show quality bike, it is extremely clean and dazzles everyone who sees it. The exhaust is in excellent condition with great chrome & no rot or loose materials inside. As noted in the pictures, there is heat discoloration in the left header pipe (not unusual),. All chrome is in exceptionally good condition for being original.. THE only thing you will need is the fork boots, Sale includes a complete tool kit... This is the cleanest, best running, unrestored HONDA CL175 you will ever find.
