1973 Specs Polara Wheelbase 122 Length 226.6 Legroom, F/R 41.8/39.1 Shoulder room, F/R 63.2/62.7 Dodge Polara - the luxury land yachts - from 1957 to 1973 (this is the last year of the Polara, 40 years old this year) I have added American Racing Wheels and 280mm rear tires with manual Air shocks, and electric horn. Rear bench seat replaced in 1996 (matched so well it looks original but i could not find the actual paisley from the factory) In the last few years: new master cylinder, alternator, valve covers, water-pump rebuild, exhaust pipe. Original engine: the 2 bbl surprisingly gets 20 mpg highway, 9 in the city. Also, i have a set of manuals (pictured not very well), a GM 70s Chilton and the specific one for this family Polara/Monaco/Newport as well as various Mopar memorabilia (dodge fever believer et al) I think i have had this car 20 years now.
