I am selling my beautiful 1965 Thunderbird Landau that I've owned for 5 years. This is a very solid car with little or no rust. The original turquoise (U code) and white color combination is stunning and looks great going down the road with it's spinner hubcaps. The white interior is in very nice shape and I would give it a 8 out of 10. The vinyl top is excellent. Paint-wise it's quite decent but is showing it's age with chips on the hood etc. but still looks good. The car runs very well and is a pleasure to drive. The 390 V8 is solid and has a fresh oil change. The transmission shifts well and the brakes are fine. It passed inspection 100 miles ago. The gauges seem to be fine. It's pictured not wearing it's fender skirts but they are included with the car. he original owners nameplate is still on the dash. The chrome is very good and the sequential tailights work. The power windows work but the switches are a bit finicky. Structurally, the floors, frame, trunk, quarters, etc are solid and original. The slide-away steering column works fine. Now the downside...there is a drip from the heater core, the radio does not work, there is a small exhaust leak from the manifold although the exhaust system is very solid, and the A/C does not blow cold although all the parts are in tact. This is truly a wonderful car that will not dissappoint you. It's not a show car but is still gorgeous! The car is located 2 hours North of NYC. I will be happy to work with your shipper, if required.
