I bought two 2003 mustang GTs in 2006, one with 29,000 and one with 28,000 miles on it. (over $10k) The silver mustang was a flood car that I hoped to redo, but realized I needed a donor car and bought the black one about 2 months later. I pulled all the electrical, drivetrain, brakes, steering, exhaust, interior... basically everything except the body. We stripped the flood car down, cleaned it and treated it with rust inhibitor. (7 years later you can see it worked) We pulled the doors and trunk from the wrecked black car and swapped them. Unfortunately, I lost the title and just received a new one a few months ago. Now I have two other cars and just want to sell. Runs great, shifts great, body straight, interior is fantastic, Optional wheels and Stainless exhaust, 6 disc in dash changer w/Mach 460 stereo. The best way I can describe it is all the major stuff is there and working. MOST of the fine points are great, like the leather looks like new, no wrinkles everywhere like others. There are however some superficial things that need to be done to make it 100%. This car would make a great dependable daily driver that you could put 100,000+ reliable miles on and not lose a fortune in depreciation.
