1988 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 – for parts Not running – Sold for Parts 52,000 miles on bike. It has been sitting up for about 4 years. Last time it was started was about 2 years ago. Sold for parts!! If you are looking at getting this bike road worthy keep in mind it would need a lot of work. Some of the flaring is missing or cracked (the bike was laid down before) I do have the title but it’s not signed or notarized. SOLD FOR PARTS! Located in Zachary, Louisiana.You must pick up bike! On Jul-14-13 at 18:07:33 PDT, seller added the following information:Some questions I’ve received about the bike, in an easier to read format than eBay’s (I think): -Is the title in your name - if not can the previous owner be located ? The title is still in the name of the guy I got it from (a friend of my son’s). He has signed the front of the title, but it’s not notarized. I can get in touch with him if need be. Was the bike road worthy after you bought it ? I changed the oil and plugs when I got the bike 2 years ago. The bike started up (jumping it off, dead battery) and idled fine. When I put it in gear it stalled. Was the gas ever drained from the tank and carburetors? No. Why was it stored outside? Needed room in shop. Do you think the bike can be made road worth ? For a bike mechanic – yes. The motor only has 52,000 miles on it witch, they say, is nothing for a goldwing. It does need a lot of work. I’m not a mechanic, must less a bike mechanic that’s the main reason why I listed this bike for parts.On Jul-16-13 at 06:14:57 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had bad luck with trying to add pictures to an auction after a bid has been received.
