For your consideration a Rare 79 CB750L Limited Edition 10th Anniversary motorcycle. I purchased it a year ago from the 2nd owner who bought it 21 yrs ago and drove it for 1 yr and parked it. It was in dry storage in his garage and didn't get ridden because he changed jobs and was gone from home all the time. He would start it a few times a year and just let it run for a short time. Because he never let it warm up properly moisture would collect in the exhaust. The original exhaust rusted out between the exhaust pipes and mufflers and left big holes. I was forced to replace the complete exhaust system with an aftermarket 4 into 1 system. I tried to get the quietest one I could find but it is still louder than stock. Can't buy NOS anymore or it is overpriced if you can find it. The center stand was removed to install this system. It is available if you want it. Because it sat for 20 yrs important components needed to be replaced or rebuilt. I have addressed all these issues and the bike runs great and looks great. The only thing it needs, that I know of, is new front fork seals. I will provide the new owner with them. I don't have the time to put them in. New parts: Tires and tubes Fuel petcock Complete 4 into 1 Exhaust system 4 Carb kits and Air cut-off valves also Accelerator pump diaphragm NGK spark plugs Air filter element Caliper rebuild seals and Stainless steel piston Complete aftermarket brake master cylinder assembly and Stainless steel brake line. AGM sealed battery Oil, filter and pan gasket The carbs were professionally rebuilt by Jerry from Metal Motorz and the carbs synched, he was a factory trained Japanese motorcycle mechanic before opening his own shop. The bike has a little over 3k miles on it and that is actual mileage. It is all original except for the parts I have replaced. It is not a perfect bike but is as nice as they get for being 34 yrs old. Some of the thin clearcoat is mottled as these Japanese bikes will do, that I call patina. I have sold many bikes on ebay with no disappointments. I restore and refurbish cycles as a hobby. I don't do it for profit. I have restored or refurbished British, Japanese, German and Italian bikes over the last 10 years. I have tried to be as honest as possible with this listing. There is NO warranty on this bike and it is sold "as is". I have shipped many bikes from this location. I will assist with the carrier but will not crate or palletize the bike.
