[zipedit] Up for auction is one 1970 Datsun 510 Project CarThe Datsun has the Original 11-digit VIN - PL510133136 (The 17-digit VINs, as required by eBay, were not issued until later, so I had to add the xxxxxx)There is no instrument cluster with the car, so the mileage was estimated at 50,000. This was done because eBay requires a mileage estimate to list the vehicle. The car is being stored in Ontario, California This Project began with a Bone-Stock - Super Clean - Rust Free CarIf you LIKE Datsun 510s - You'll LOVE this one! The car was stored for years in the high desert of Southern California, since 1990 - Which is the reason for NO Rust WhatsoeverAlthough the car is being sold without the engine or transmission, it comes complete with many hard to find or unavailable trim parts. The hood, trunk and both doors fit quite well, even though they are just in the mock-up stage in these photos – and haven't gone through their final adjustments. Original Parts: There are a lot of body parts included with the car – as can be seen in the photos:All the glass - plus an extra tinted rear window.All of the window moldings.All of the window rubber gaskets.The dash pad.The sun visors.The rear seat.The package tray.A brand new set of carpeting.The original wiring harness.The Undercarriage: Brand new Suspension Techniques front and rear coil springs.Brand new Suspension Techniques front and rear anti-sway bars.Brand new Mulholland front and rear shock absorbers. The Engine Compartment: Painted to match the exterior of the car.
