Up for sale is a 1974 Land Rover Series 3, 4 speed, 2.25 engine. The current owner does not speak english and I have been a close friend of the family for years. THE ONLY REASON FOR THE SALE IS A CURRENT HEALTH MATTER HAS JUST ARISEN. THIS IS A FORCED SALE! The current owner has had this series since 6/2003. The pictures were taken today in front of his home. This has been a garage kept series. This is a running and driving truck. He has spent numerous amounts on getting this truck up to date and road worthy over the years. He drove this truck countless numbers throughout the week and all through winter down here in Florida. The truck is in great shape. It runs and drives like it was new. It pulls very strong even while in 4 gear, still pulls. Shifts smooth and brakes on a dime. No double pumping here! One small tap and its stopped!!! Many parts have been replaced on the engine, brakes and drivetrain...The truck is equipped with factory hubs are in good shape. The overall condition of the body is in good shape. If I were to score it on a 1-10 scale, I would give it an 8.5.. The passenger side fender has a minor fender bender by a person at the supermarket. The recent paint job was done by the owner and his bother. They were not able to finish inside the rear tub. They have included the rest of the paint for the new buyer to continue the job.This truck was originally blue, but now its a hunter green with new tan top. Headliner is in great shape with no tears, shagging, marks or dirt. The truck is all original expect for the aftermarket tires and paint. Tires are general grabber mt 31x10.5 15lt. All four tires are smooth on the road as well as off road. Not much off road though. All windows are intact with no cracks. Both rear seats are in good shape. The bulkhead has no rust spots or areas of concern. This is a VERY SOLID bulkhead. The frame is ridiculously SOLID as well. No holes, rust areas, no bad rear crossmember, no falling apart outriggers. I cant stress to you enough the shape of the frame. This is why we took so many shots of the frame. There is a skid plate under the transfer case. The only repair i see on around the floor is on the corner of the passenger and drives side I took a picture of the area..The dash board is like new! No cracks or splits in any areas. Wipers works, lights and heater... A few months ago the owner purchased a new galvanized roof rack and ladder for the truck. This is not included into the sale. If the new buyer would like it, we can talk about a reduced price for the rack. Also up for a small price is a barely used fairy overdrive we were going to install until the health issue came abroad. This unit is complete and in working order. We can discuss this option as well for a small fee..One item that is included into the sale of the truck are the parabolic springs and new shocks. Plus repair manuel and original owners manuel..plus new miscellaneous parts.. He is looking for a quick sale and is open to offers. Judging by the prices here on ebay, we will be the lowest by far with a set low reserve. He has all paper work and open, free and clear in hand ready for the new owner.
