Here IS A VERY RARE and true 1968 Chevelle SS nearly complete project car. The interior is all original and is a rare Buick interior that only a few SS Chevelles got. If you research this, several theories exist as to why GM plants did this ranging from a strike at GM plants, material shortage, to an upgrade to the more upscale interior. GM has not confirmed why the did this, but this is rare and is documented. This car also still has the numbers matching big block! Exterior is complete and solid, there is rust in the usual spots and around the wheel wells of the quarter panel. Trunk pan will need to be replaced, so will the gas tank. Floor pans look pretty solid. I understand that when you take on a project, this is an experience that is very special for many reasons, it can be something that you are working on with your child, father, etc.., it can also be that you had a car like this growing up and want to relive your past.
