I love this triumph and hate to sell it, but I had to take it off the road last spring to put my Norton on the road. It doesn't do anyone any good not being ridden so i figured I'd let someone else enjoy it. It has always been garaged and kept out of the weather. The engine has been reliable for me, it's never let me down or stranded anywhere. It is a very solid rider. The paint looks ok but is not a show bike by any means. I've always regularly changed all the fluids (with synthetic oil, except the primary-synthetic makes the clutches slip) and checked all the tolerances as per the haynes manual I have as well as included lead additive in every tank of gas. The tires have lots of tread on them left, the wheels also look pretty good. It has incorrect stickers on it, it is not a 5 speed model. The transmission shifted well when parked. I pulled the primary cover off last week to clean the clutch disks up (they became sticky) and changed the primary fluid. I rode it around the yard and everything seemed to be working well. I installed bar end weights to help reduce vibrations in the handlebars. The cases never really leaked oil like some of the British bikes do unless it was ran hard. The seedometer and tach work however the glass is cracked on the speedometer. I believe that the speedometer may be original and correct to the bike as it has good compression still and the title states 2592 as mileage when i received it. The bike still has points ignition and amal carb. It is a numbers matching bike. This bike hasn't been chopped up or molested.
