Being relisted due to bidders not having funds in place and bidding. BIDDING does not buy the car,money does. Up for auction is a 64 gto factory tri-power,4 speed hardtop,factory V VA paint which is red with a black pin stripe. The interior was black. I got this from a friend of mine that had it many years sitting beside his house. As you can see there is a oblong hole cut in the hood. This is a Texas car that was out of San Antonio and was raced back in the day in 70s and early 80s with a duel quaded 421 and a scoop was bolted to the hood for air for the set up. Raced in South Texas and North Texas back in the day. Still has the nitros bottle holder in the trunk. I do not like hardtops GTOs and have a ton of post cars that need to take priorty. The trunk has been replaced and the original bracing was left in as it was good. A couple of patches were put in the floor. A lot of work has been done to the car but have decided to move on to some of the cars I like better. Nice builder that is the right color. NO MOTOR OR TRANS. The car has the typical rust that these cars have and needs some spots repaired that is typical. The cars engine,trans,and posi rearin Im sure had been left in pieces on some drag strip during its time of being raced. . I do have the PHS. that confirms that the car is true tri-power 4 speed. You will need to get a title through your state title company as I only received a Bill of Sale on the car. There are a lot of title services out there that charge about 250.
