For sale is a 1977 Chevrolet Corvette L-82. I purchased this car in January as a drivable project, but am now purchasing a home and unfortunately need to sell the car. Very cool car that is primed and ready for your finishing touches. The car has been about 65% restored - have all receipts (over $8,000) of work since 1998. The car was appraised by American High Performance in Fairfax, VA in August 2012 for $8750 (see photo). Less than 500 miles have been put on the car since. Headlights pop up and down but do not turn on. Horn is not hooked up. The brake lights/turn signals work. The car could benefit from a new wiring harness. The 2nd gear synchronizer can sometimes be difficult. There is some surface rust and minor pitting that is noticeable on the frame but does not affect the integrity of the car. Have driven this car full throttle up over 100 mph with no issues. The car does not leak any fluids, doesn't overheat, and is a blast to drive. The T-Tops can be removed easily and stored. The car is located in Alexandria, VA. A $500 non-refundable fee is due at the close of the auction. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
